The CHO-mini pedal features three carefully engineered yet distinct chorus modes. All three modes faithfully capture the iconic modulation sounds that have shaped music across all genres, past and present, and are easily selected using the convenient mode switch located right on top of the pedal.

Chorus 1: This mode emulates the coveted and well-established bucket-brigade style of chorus pedal sounds from the 1970s. This is THE chorus sound heard on many popular recordings.

Chorus 2: Chorus 2 is based on a different type of stereo chorus and allows for a higher rate at the upper end of the control range, creating pleasant vibrato-like textures.

Flanging: While this mode isn’t a flanger sound in the traditional sense, it emulates another extremely popular (and, in its original form, rare and expensive) pedal from the 1970s—specifically, its subtle flanging mode. Think of this as a comb-filter phasing of the signal (like feedback in a delay) that focuses on the rich overall character without becoming too extreme.

The CHO-mini offers full tap-tempo functionality in a single-switch design, further enhancing its flexibility. Simply holding down the footswitch for about two seconds puts the pedal into tap-tempo mode, after which the pedal immediately responds to rhythmic presses and adjusts the modulation speed. Like all other current Nobels pedals, the CHO-mini features 4 built-in Mounty-P mounting plates for secure attachment to a pedalboard. With its all-metal housing and glow-in-the-dark indicators, the CHO-mini is a small powerhouse built for performance.
