ODR-1 30th Anniversary
And suddenly, everything is happening so fast and completely out of the blue….
– The Nobels brand has been around for 40 years now
– For over than 30 years, the legendary ODR-1 overdrive has been delighting listeners
To mark the anniversary, an 30th Anniversary pedal is now being released that captures the classic sound of the golden Nobels ODR-1 era. For the first time, it’s been upgraded with a continuously adjustable bass-cut pot. Here, Nobels has listened to and fulfilled the wishes of humbucker players. This is a direct replica of an old ’90s ODR-1 from the first production run. Since every pedal sounds different due to the component variation/tolerance of that era and the aging of the components, we’ve chosen the pedal that sounds best (to us, subjectively…) as our reference. Here, then, is our CLONE. So there is no such thing as an “ORIGINAL”—as so many claim.
The search for the holy “original ODR-1 Grail”—at exorbitant prices—has certainly come to an end.
